In 2014 we started Pladas Labs as a small family run, indoor plant growing business. Being in Oregon, we quickly discovered powdery mildew, and germ contamination were destroying our plants. We tried everything, but nothing really seemed to work. Then we discovered UVC lighting. We bought a popular, small, but very expensive UVC Light that cost us $450. It was only 12" long . It definitely showed promise, but it just didn't seem to have enough power. We needed more, so that is when we decided to engineer our own UVC Lights
After a few years of exhaustive research, trials and failures, we finally achieved a UVC Light that was extremely powerful and lightweight .
Today, we are proud to offer this versatile UVC technology to businesses and other applications, as a very effective way to kill viruses and pathogens. Our UVC Lights are mobile, affordable and lightweight, at a very powerful 36 watts output that plugs into any standard 110v outlet.

Our lights are built to last, with a high quality, professionally constructed, strong aluminum shield. This shield is specifically designed to direct light away from the operator, and onto targeted areas. These lights should last you many, many years with the bulb lasting 8000 hours.
Engineered to be mobile and versatile, can be used for a wide variety of applications. Carry unit around for mobile disinfection, or hang 1 or more units above select targeted areas. The longer the light is exposed to an area, the more it kills. Light fixture is 48"x 7" x 4" and weighs in at only 7 lbs.
Our lights are unique as there are none other like this anywhere. We custom designed these to be strong, durable, lightweight, and it had to be as affordable as possible.
